Busy week

Hey there folks,
a somewhat more personal post than i feel that I've managed over the last month since Fukushima.

Well, I thought that opposing nuclear new build in the UK was keeping me pretty busy but Fukushima happening has not just taken the biscuit it's taken the whole biscuit factory!! My life as an anti-nuclear campaigner has just slipped into overdrive this last month.

Just this last week we've had the following happen:

A fundrasier gig last saturday for SWAN, a great success,

An action called for by the Stop Nuclear Power Network as part of a week of activities aimed at raising awareness about the activities of  the nuclear industry. Here in the south west we took to the streets for a bit of street theatre.

Helen Caldicott M.D came to Bristol on Thursday 14th April.

Three major activities in less than 7 days 2 of which have been organised since before xmas last year, all of which I've been involved with organising.

I'm unable to take pictures myself personally at the moment so as soon as I can get my hands on some piccys from the events I'll put them on here & update you all. Incidentally, if anyone reading my blog has any photos of these events that you can share please let me know via the comments box.
